A public meeting will be held at the Dallas County Courthouse on July 23 for a presentation of the Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA) Local Recovery Plan for those who were affected by Hurricanes Sally and Zeta in 2020.

In addition to addressing unmet needs from the hurricanes, the presentation will also go over hazard mitigation needs in case of future disasters.

"The Plan will enable Dallas County to pursue resources and funding to address the most pressing needs," said a description for the meeting by ACCA. "Your attendance is requested to provide input on needs and critical projects to address those needs."

The meeting and presentation will be held at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the Commission 1st Floor of the courthouse on 102 Church Street in Selma.
