Two Lowndes County farmers were recognized by the Alabama Farmers Federation (ALFA) during their annual meeting on Dec. 9.Â
David Lee was honored for serving a maximum nine years on the Alabama Farmers Federation State Beef Committee during the 103rd annual meeting in Montgomery.
"State commodity committee members help direct fellow farmers’ policy concerns, host educational programming and address agricultural issues," said an announcement by ALFA.
Darren Hammonds was honored for serving two years as the Lowndes County Farmers Federation President at the Alabama Farmers Federation’s (AFF) 103rd Annual Meeting in Montgomery.
