The AISA Class AAA Region 2 Lowndes Academy Rebels are ranked No. 1 and continue to roll over opponents in 2025.
The Rebels defeated the Clarke Prep Gators 45-2 in regional play Friday night to go 4-0 overall and 2-0 in region play. The only score by the Gators came on a safety.
Against the Gators, Braydn Stokes completed six of 10 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns. And Kimmis Morgan completed one of two passes for 32 yards and a touchdown.
Jeremy Hardy Jr. rushed three times for 130 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 32 yards and a touchdown. Ford Walker caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Stokes. And Whit Holley had a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown.
On defense, Holley had seven tackles, two for loss and one interception.
The Rebels had 396 yards of total offense including 160 through the air and 236 on the ground. They held the Gators to 90 yards total offense including six yards through the air and 84 yards on the ground.
The Rebels will host Southern Academy for another regional contest on Sept. 19.
