A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred north of Reform on Monday, said a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).Â
At around 4:20 p.m. on Monday Christopher S. Byrd, 33, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado collided head-on with a 1994 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by Claude W. Robinson, 57, also of Reform.
According to the report Byrd was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Â
Robinson was injured and transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss.
The crash took place on Alabama 17, near the 217 mile marker, approximately six miles north of Reform.Â
