Montgomery Fire/Rescue (MFR) raised $5,425 for the Cancer Wellness Foundation through the sale of pink t-shirts, donations and collaborative projects.

"We are grateful for the work of the Cancer Wellness Foundation who give back to our community by helping local patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation with transportation to and from treatment," said a post on social media.

MFR expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the effort.

"Your generosity means everything to the foundation and the community and helps to get us one step closer to finding a cure," continues the post.
