A man from Montgomery faces a minimum of ten years and up to life in a federal prison after being convicted of multiple drug trafficking-related crimes.

A statement from U.S. Attorney Kevin Davidson identified Arsenio Hall, 38, as the defendant who was the subject of an investigation beginning in late 2024.

On Dec. 4 a search warrant was served at Hall's residence. During the search more than three kilograms of 99-percent pure methamphetamine, over 200 grams of cocaine, approximately three pounds of marijuana, and 349 grams of a synthetic cannabinoid was found in a bedroom closet.

Fingerprints and other evidence was used to link Hall to the drugs, the statement said.

At first he was convicted on state charges. In July of 2025 he was convicted after a jury returned a five-count indictment against him, including an additional count in November.

“This case reflects the strong collaboration between federal and local law enforcement here in the Middle District of Alabama,” said Davidson. “I am grateful to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration for their hard work and careful investigation, which helped bring this case to a successful conclusion.”

Hall will be sentenced in the coming months.
