A man was arrested by Montgomery police after they say that he fired more than 30 rounds at officers responding to a domestic disturbance call.

According to WSFA, police arrived at the 9400 block of Bristlecone Drive at approximately 11:30 p.m. to respond to the call.

When they arrived the suspect, Jarvis Maurice Bowers, appeared to be drunk on the scene and was armed with multiple weapons that included a rifle with a high-capacity magazine.

He reportedly began firing at the officers before being taken into custody by the Montgomery Police Department's SWAT team.

Bowers now faces charges of discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle and two counts of attempted murder.

No one was injured during the incident.
