The remaining two Dallas County inmates who escaped from a Perry County facility in May were captured at GWC Homes Wednesday.
After a several-hours standoff, Marquavious Billingsley and Kevin Gunn were arrested around 5 p.m. Wednesday by a law enforcement task force, the US Marshals, Selma Police, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.
The two men had barricaded inside an apartment at GWC Homes but were arrested without incident, interim Police Chief Michael Perry said.
Billingsley and Gunn have been on the run since escaping from the Perry County Correctional Facility on May 30 along with Johnny Dave Harris Bush Jr. and Jayden Maxwell.
Bush was arrested the next day in Midfield. Maxwell surrendered that night at Bloch Park in Selma.
