At 334 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Paul M Grist State Park, or 7 miles west of Valley
Grande, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Selma, Valley Grande, Selmont-West Selmont, Autaugaville, White Hall,
Orrville, Billingsley, Booth, Vida Junction, Gardner Island, Old
Cahaba Park, Dallas County Horse Arena, Mulberry, Paul M Grist State

rainfall for portions of Central Alabama. A broad area of Central

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following
counties, Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Blount, Bullock, Calhoun,
Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas,
Elmore, Etowah, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lee, Lowndes, Macon,
Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Pike, Randolph, Russell,
Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa and Tuscaloosa.
* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
