Guinness World Records (GWR) has revealed the extraordinary stars featured in the 2026 edition - celebrating some of the most jaw-dropping achievements from around the world.
Leading this year’s line-up is painter, Lưu Công Huyá»n (Vietnam), who has set the world record for the longest fingernails on a pair of hands (male) (594.45 cm / 19 ft 6 in in total).
Despite the extraordinary length of his nails, Huyá»n continues to paint - leaving them coated in a striking rainbow of splashes from his artwork.

Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, traveled to Vietnam to verify the record. He said: “Seeing Lưu’s fingernails up close is an experience you never forget. His dedication shows the true spirit of record-breaking: perseverance, passion and a touch of eccentricity.”
Among its 2,247 records are an array of new, talented individuals that GWR say they hope will inspire readers to be part of it and start their own record-breaking journey.
Craig Glenday adds, "I want readers to treat GWR 2026 as a guidebook for getting their names cemented in history. Everyone has the potential to be the best in the world at something, and this book is the key to unlocking that. Reading about records is one thing, but if you want to be part of it, then your journey starts here."
