US forces have offered an insight into their military dog training at a UK air base.
The animals safeguard security for the 100th Security Forces Squadron, a US Air Force unit stationed at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk.
US military working dog Glen, whom the US Air Force (USAF) describes as "lethality on all fours," is shown obediently lying in a tunnel during daily training.

The USAF explain: "The goal of conducting daily maneuvers is to sharpen the dogs' tactical lethality, highlighting the essential role the canine team has in base defense."
At Mildenhall, these dogs are trained for detection and protection duties, sweeping buildings, patrolling perimeters and responding to intruders alongside armed security forces.
The base has recently supported US special operations aircraft deploying to the Middle East, as well as refueling missions for fighter jets taking part in exercises over the North Sea.
