Man found dead in Bozeman apartment hot tub identified

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Gallatin County Sheriff and Coroner Dan Springer shared the name of the person involved in a tragic incident at the 19th and Graf apartments' hot tub.

The victim was 48-year-old Justin Huggins from Bozeman. This incident took place on Sunday, June 1 on South 21st Ave.

The Gallatin County Coroner's Office and Bozeman Police Department found that Huggins was alone in the hot tub. They suspect intoxication played a role in his death. We're still waiting on autopsy results for the exact cause and manner of death.

Sheriff Springer thanked the apartment residents who helped in life-saving efforts. "We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Justin Huggins during this time," he said.
