A rare signed ticket to The Rock's debut professional wrestling match has sold for $10,980.
On November 17, 1996, future global megastar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made his official, regular-season WWF in-ring television debut under the name Rocky Maivia.
The monumental moment took place at the 10th annual Survivor Series pay-per-view event inside a sold-out Madison Square Garden.
The then-24-year-old would go on to become a household name in the wrestling scene and later in Hollywood.
The WWF rebranded to WWE in 2002.

The ticket is signed "Rock" with a blue Sharpie.
PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) graded it a 1.5, but the autograph a 10.
It sold for $9,000 after an auction at Heritage Auctions in Texas, USA, on Saturday, September 19.
Including buyer's premium, that is $10,980.
In total, 15 people bid on the lot.
There is only one known ticket graded superior, according to the auctioneers.
