Tiny deer comes out on top while facing rhino

A tiny 13kg deer took on a 1.7 ton rhino - and won.

The footage, filmed at Wroclaw Zoo, Poland, on Jan. 8, shows the moment a deer and a rhino stand off with each other.

Feeling brave, the Reeves’s muntjac deer runs up to the rhino to scare him away and continues to chase the 1.7-ton beast until he runs away and admits defeat.

A spokesperson from Wroclaw Zoo, said: “His partner is in heat, and the bachelor is pumping with testosterone. He needs to release his energy and show who's boss - even if his sparring partner weighs 1.7 tons.

“Who would have thought that such a warrior could be hidden in that tiny body?”
