Lawrence Davis, Jr. has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer for the City of Montgomery.
An announcement from the city stated that Davis has more than 25 years of experience in the public sector, having a background in modernization efforts in financial operations, enterprise systems, and revenue management.
His duties will include overseeing citywide operational functions, collaborating with stakeholders for service delivery supporting governance.
“We are excited to welcome Lawrence Davis, Jr. to the City of Montgomery’s executive leadership team,” said Mayor Steven L. Reed. “Davis brings a strategic, people centered approach that will help advance our priorities, strengthen City operations, and support excellence in public service.”
