A new Grants Administrator has been announced for the Montgomery County Commission (MCC).

Derick Sippial has more than five years in legal operations, grant management, and compliance, said a post on social media by MCC.

He was credited with securing federal grants aligned with 2 CFR § 200 standards along with developing strategic proposals, managing budgets, and building community programs.

Sippial is completing a Master of Public Administration at Troy University and has experience at the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office authoring a BJA grant proposal and creating community outreach initiatives for local schools.

"His expertise in federal and state grant writing and public sector innovation will be invaluable as we continue expanding resources for public safety, infrastructure, and community development," said the post.
