The superintendent and board of education for the Perry County Schools district invites families and the community for a progress briefing on Sunday, July 26.Â
The board and Superintendent Marcia Smiley will highlight student achievements and recognize staff members. They will share a report on academic growth data along with updates on improvements to technology and the facilities.Â
Additionally, collaborations with parents, community organizations and local businesses on fostering academic growth will be highlighted.Â
A meeting will be held at the gym of Robert C. Hatch High School at 12 p.m. followed by another at the gym of Francis Marion School at 3 p.m.Â
