Marion Police Chief Tony Buford has confirmed there was a robbery attempt at Marion Community Bank on Washington Street in Marion.
There is no word yet on the number of suspects and if there have been any arrests. Chief Buford was participating in the investigation and said he will release details later.
The bank was the scene of a burglary December 6 of 2021. One in a number of burglaries that happened that night.
