Car chase in Pickens County

Pickens County deputies arrested a subject after they were led on a chase through hazardous conditions on Sunday night. 

According to an announcement from the Pickens County Sheriff's Office the incident began after the subject attempted to go to a closed bank. The unidentified person then fled the scene in a car. 

Deputies later apprehended the person by using spike strips to stop the vehicle. 

"I commend these dedicated men and women, along with Pickens E911, who never stop working for the citizens of Pickens County regardless of the conditions," said Sheriff Jordan Powell in the announcement.
