Potter/artist Jo Taylor molds arts and arts education in Dallas County and the Black Belt

Jo Taylor is an award-winning Selma artist/potter who has had a huge impact on the arts and art education in Selma, Dallas County and the Black Belt.

A longtime member of the Selma Art Guild, Taylor is known for her raku pottery and fused glass creations as well as her work as an arts education coordinator, a program manager for the arts for the Black Belt Community Foundation and visual arts teacher for the Dallas County School System.

Since October 2018, Taylor has been building a small business, Taylor’s Studio 903.
