A ribbon cutting will be held for the new electric vehicle charging station at Montgomery Whitewater Park on Thursday, June 20.Â
A statement from the City of Montgomery said that the station was funded through grants from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs & Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama.Â
Speakers will be Montgomery County Commission Chairman Doug Singleton, Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs Director Kenneth Boswell, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama EVP & CAO Robert Burns, and Alabama Power Company VP, Southern Division Leslie Sanders.Â
The ribbon cutting will be held at 11 a.m. on 1100 Maxwell Blvd in Montgomery.
