A ribbon cutting will be held for J.F. Ingram State Technical College's (ISTC) new Workforce Training Facility Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles’ Perry County PREP Center on Wednesday, Sept. 23.Â
"The new facility will expand access to on-site workforce education, hands-on training and industry-recognized credentials for PREP Center participants," said a press release from the bureau. "These opportunities are designed to help individuals develop marketable skills, prepare for employment and build a stronger foundation for successful reentry."
State and local government representatives, community stakeholders and workforce partners will be present for the event.Â
The PREP Center is located at 4805 U.S. Highway 80 in Uniontown.
