Roland Cooper State Park lake and pier

Roland Cooper State Park will host its Outdoor Day event on Feb. 15 for those interested in learning more about nature. 

The park will feature these free activities: 

All About Birds (10 a.m.) - An educational program about how birds fly and participants will look for local species along the edge of the park's lake. 

Become a Naturalist (2 p.m.) - A guided hike where participants will explore and journal along the way. 

Diamonds in the Rough Night Hike (7 p.m.) - A program about spiders during a night hike.
