The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will host an information session on small business funding through its loan programs in Selma on May 6.
"Learn what lenders look for, how to prepare for financing, and how an SBA loan guarantee can strengthen your borrowing power," said an announcement from the Selma Center for Nonviolence, Truth & Reconciliation.Â
The training will be led by Roderick D. Perkins from the U.S. SBA Alabama District Office. Participants can also connect with local SBA lenders in Selma.
The in-person session is being held in celebration of National Small Business Week and will take place at the Citi Center on 217 Broad Street in Selma.Â
The registration deadline is May 5. It is free and can be done here.Â
