The Selma High Saints recognized the 2026 Homecoming Court on Friday night during halftime of the Selma-Demopolis game at Memorial Stadium.

The recognition was not held on the field but on the track in front of the stands after the game was canceled when gunfire could be heard from a nearby neighborhood right before halftime was to begin.

The school showed resiliency Friday night as the weather turned considerably colder and featured a misty rain during the first quarter. Then the stadium lights also went out earlier in the second quarter, surprising the crowd and taking about 30 minutes to turn back on.

Regardless, the Homecoming Court was dressed and ready for the halftime ceremony when Caleb Morgan and Jaleeah Brown were crowned 2026 king and queen.

First runner up is Zion Simpson and Darrius Smith Jr.

Second runner up is Maleeyah Goings and Jabori Johnson

Third runner up is Jordan Glover and Jade Riddle.

In the court are:

Martavious Webster and Jakayla Scott

Sakara Frison and Brandon Cobb Jr.

Terrance Green Jr and Justice Robinson
