The Selma Housing Authority (SHA) has received a $99,481 Family Self-Sufficiency grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development or HUD. 

An announcement from SHA on social media said that the program seeks to increase the earnings of families and "build financial capability and assets." 

"This grant reaffirms our commitment to empowering families in our community to achieve financial independence and brighter futures," said the announcement.
