On Jan. 20, the Selma chapter of the Links Incorporated will hold its 27th annual MLK Unity Breakfast at a.m. at the Carl Morgan Convention Center where Alabama Senator Garlan Gudger will be the guest speaker.
The theme of the event will be “Transforming Our Community Through Friendship and Service”. According to a press release by the Links, the breakfast aims to bring different people from the community to exemplify Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision.
Members of the Selma High School Choir will perform. Proceeds from the event will be used for programs by the Links Incorporated.
The Carl Morgan Convention Center is located at 211 Washington St. in Selma.
