Marico Lee

Marico Lee is wanted for murder of a Selma man on Saturday.

A fugitive wanted for the murder of a Selma man in October has been arrested in Boston.

District Attorney Robert Turner Jr. confirmed Thursday that murder suspect Marico Lee has been apprehended in Boston and will be transported back to Selma when extradition is finalized in a few days.

Lee is a suspect in the murder of Pollard Moultrie, who was killed in a shooting on Beech Creek Lane on Oct. 25.

Authorities emphasized that while Lee remains presumed innocent until proven guilty, his arrest marks a significant step toward resolution in the case.

“We’re happy that he has been apprehended,” Turner said. “It puts the public at ease somewhat.”
