Selma police issue warrant for suspect of domestic violence that resulted in shooting

Selma police have issued an arrest warrant for a man who is wanted for a shooting that resulted from a domestic violence incident. 

According to the Selma Police Department, on May 8, officers responded to a call about an unwanted guest at the 1200 Block of Woodrow Avenue. When they arrived they found a 28-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. 

She was taken to Vaughan Regional Medical Center for treatment. 

Charvell Burse, 44, has been identified as the suspect and is currently wanted for domestic violence in the first degree.
