Selma's Latosha Brown has been nominated for the Anthem Community Voice Award in the Human and Civil Rights Nonprofit Leader category.Â
Brown is the founder of the Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium and the co-founder of Black Voters Matter.Â
"Her unwavering dedication to justice, equality, and human rights has sparked powerful change, and this nomination is a testament to her incredible work," said the consortium on social media.Â
