Most of the western and central portion of the Black Belt may see severe weather on Friday at 6 a.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday. 

According to the Alabama Emergency Management Agency, Perry, Marengo, Choctaw, Sumter, Hale, and Greene counties could experience 2 to 4 inches of rain. 

Clarke, Wilcox, Dallas, Lowndes, Montgomery and part of Butler and Macon counties could see 0.5-2 inches. 

Damaging winds, hail and tornados will be possible during this time. 

The public is advised to keep up to date with weather reports and take precautions as needed.
