Selma Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking vendors to analyze the George Washington Carver (GWC) Gateway Community Neighborhood after receiving a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.Â
Part of the grant was to "produce a market analysis of the targeted community for transformation," for the community located in the 36703-zip code, said a recent announcement on social media.Â
"In support of the GWC Gateway Community neighborhood’s long-term success, the SHA seeks to understand the housing market in the 36703 zip code area and assess the current and projected needs of the population within that market," the announcement said.
"Additionally, the Authority seeks to establish some baseline conditions in the market and evaluate the impact, existing and potential of the Choice Neighborhood program impact."
