Strong weather is possible for north and central Alabama from Wednesday night into the morning hours of Thanksgiving.

Threats include large, quarter-sized hail, winds gusting up to 60 mph, and brief tornadoes during the hours of 10 p.m. on Wednesday to 10 a.m. on Thursday.

The Weather Forecast Office is advising the public to find ways to get alerts, know where safe places are and stay up to day with weather reports.
