The Selma Police Department has arrested a suspect in the city's first murder of 2025.Â
A statement from the department said that they have taken Jadarius Moore, 31, of Selma into custody for the murder of David Lewis, 34, of Huntsville.Â
The shooting occurred at the 1900 block of Minter Avenue on Jan. 4. After interviewing witnesses police say that they arrested Moore on Jan. 6.
Moore is being held in jail under no bond and a hearing is pending.
