Rep. Terri Sewell will hold a press conference at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery as part of the "All Roads Lead to the South" protest on Saturday, May 13.

"Members of Congress will speak directly to the press during this historic mobilization in response to aggressive efforts to suppress Black political representation in the South following the recent Supreme Court decision gutting the Voting Rights Act of 1965," said a press release from Sewell.

The protest is set to be held at the Alabama State Capitol.

The press release will begin at 12 p.m. followed by a mass rally at 1 p.m.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is located at 400 Washington Avenue.
