On Thursday, Aug. 23 Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) will host a Telephone Town Hall at 6:30 p.m. 

Discussion will involve tariffs, education funding and what was described in a press release as proposed cuts to health care and food assistance. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. 

Also taking part will be Robyn Hyden, Executive Director of Alabama Arise, Dr. David Hicks, Health Officer for the Jefferson County Department of Health and Dr. Eric Mackey, Alabama State Superintendent of Education
