AÂ Tuscaloosa woman died in a single vehicle accident on Monday afternoon, said a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.Â
Ava L. Smith, 43, was killed when the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe she was driving left the road and struck an embankment. She was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.Â
The incident took place at around 12:30 p.m. on Alabama 25 near the 48 mile marker, approximately five miles south of Greensboro.Â
