A crash in the early morning hours of Saturday left two dead in Montgomery County.Â
According to a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Salvador Garcia-Barrera, 36, of Montgomery, was driving a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder that collided head-on with a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Ronald L. Engel, 67, of Notasulga.Â
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.Â
The crash took place on Interstate 85 near the 11 mile marker, less than one mile north of Montgomery.Â
