A Veterans Administration benefits seminar will be held at Selma VFW Post 3016 on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 10 a.m.
The event is open to all veterans in Selma and the surrounding areas who want to understand and access the full benefits they’ve earned through their service, according to retired Army First Sergeant and former Veterans Administration leader Aaron Roper.
The seminar will cover disability compensation, education benefits, healthcare access and home repair grants.
Roper said he has helped over 10,000 veterans across the country and has secured more than $192 million in life-changing benefits for veterans and their families.
“This is your final chance this fiscal year to take action,” Roper said. “Don’t miss this opportunity. I will be in the room, and I will help you.”
The Selma VFW Post is at 299 Kings Bend Road in Selma.
