Walmart has addressed issues with sales tax overcharges that customers reported last week and has reportedly fixed them.Â
According to a statement from Walmart they are now offering $5 gift cards to customers that shopped on Sept. 1.Â
Eligible customers can bring their receipts dated Sept. 1 that shows overcharges to a customer service desk at any Walmart store in Alabama. This will be available through Monday, Sept. 18.Â
Sam's Club members who were affected will receive $5 in Sam’s Cash automatically applied to their account, said the statement.Â
