Marche Johnson, who formerly represented District 3 on the Montgomery City Council, has sued the city after her seat was vacated due to issues about her residency.

Johnson argues she didn't get a chance to plead her case when the council showed Johnson purchased a home that was not in District 3 with a Veterans Affairs loan. Alabama law requires that a councilor live in their district.

Todd and Cindy talk about the council seat in this segment of the Black Belt Newscast.
