Mrs. Morris was born April 6, 1932, in Crawford, AL, daughter of late Thomas “Tommy” Wynn and Stella Newsome Wynn. She had retired from Peach Bowl Lanes after many years where she enjoyed working with the guests.

“Tootsie” as she was known by family and friends was a loving and gracious lady. She was always looking for ways to serve others, especially those in need.  Laughter was also one of the qualities she shared with others. She had a knack for making others laugh and feel at ease.

Ms. Tootsie was also a great cook, renowned for her delicious Chocolate Cake with fried made from scratch chocolate frosting. She was also an avid Alabama Football fan. Ms. Tootsie loved the football season. Always a gracious hostess she often hosted game day events for family and friends. Never a woman to stay still to long, she enjoyed traveling to see her grandchildren’s ballgames, dance recitals or any activity they were involved in. Ms. Tootsie enjoyed music and time spent with family and friends at the family cabin on the lake.

We will miss her in our daily routine, but she will live on in our hearts and memories for generations.
