Week 8 of the 2025 football season is in the books, and so are the scores. Here are this week's results:
Lowndes Academy 51, Morgan Academy 16
Lowndes led 20-0 after one quarter and 30-8 at the half on the way to the big win.
Greensboro 46, Wilcox Central 14 (Thurs.)
Greensboro led 20-0 after the first quarter and stretched the lead to 34-0 through three quarters before Wilcox outscored the Raiders 14-12in the final frame.
Trinity Presbyterian 49, Northside Methodist 13 (Thurs.)
Trinity built a 42-0 halftime lead, including a 28-0 first-quarter cushion and cruised to the win.
Leroy 28, Southern Choctaw 12
SCHS's Ray Bender pulled the Indians within 14-6 in the second quarter with a 25-yard touchdown pass to Jamauri Dailey, and the Indians added a long rushing touchdown to get within 14-12, but would get no closer after allowing Leroy a kickoff return touchdown on the next series.
