Hale County blasts Dallas County 33-0

The Hale County Wildcats left no doubt under the Friday night lights, shutting out the Dallas County Hornets 33–0 in front of a packed home crowd in Moundville.
From the opening kickoff, the Wildcats controlled every phase of the game. Dallas County struggled to find rhythm offensively and was unable to overcome Hale County’s defensive pressure. Despite brief flashes of momentum in the second half, the Hornets were never able to find the end zone.
“I feel good, knowing that we fought and left everything out there,” said Dallas County head coach Darryl Watts. “We still have a lot of lack of execution that has been our Achilles heel all year and learning how to finish.”
The Hornets will play their last regular season game against RC Hatch High School in Uniontown on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
