Monica King is the new executive director of Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce.

Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce has named a new executive director.

Monica King will lead the chamber and says her goal is "to support the success of the businesses in and around Demopolis and bring awareness to the wonderful opportunities Demopolis has to offer."

King and her husband Jody live in Demopolis. They have two children, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.

King looks "forward to creating a strong sense of community, emphasizing a commitment of service to Demopolis."
