Selma Public Library hosted Bob Kelley in "Sandwich Sushi: Cooking with Bob" on Tuesday for children as part of their summer programs.

Kelley, who owned Tally Ho for decades, taught the meaning of sushi, salty fish, then taught how to make sushi sandwiches. The group made two PB&J and one ham and spinach sushi rolls.

"We introduced them to a variety of food they might not have had." Kelley said, mentioning how some children tried spinach during the sandwich making.

"This is one of my favorite things to do. I've been doing it for years at the library," Kelley said in reference to the event.

"Sandwich Sushi: Cooking with Bob" is one of many events hosted and will be hosted by the Selma Public Library in the Summer of Fun 2023 program. Information about future events can be found at the Selma Public Library or online on the library's website.
