Selma organizations have come together to host a Back to School Bash on August 1 to give away school supplies to students.
The bash will be held at Riverfront Amphitheater and include supplies, uniforms, music, games and entertainment from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Selma resident Shereva Purifoy is organizing the event with Snow's Lawn Service, the city of Selma, Selma City Schools and the Ryan Snell Foundation.
