Whitfield Regional Hospital held their Years of Service award ceremony last week to recognize staff for serving for five to 50 years at the hospital in Demopolis.

The ceremony was held May 9 in front of the hospital's main entrance and was followed by a reception inside.

CEO Doug Brewer said healthcare is not just a job to those who work in the field.

"You don't do what the people we are honoring here today do without really knowing why you do it - it's not just a job," Brewer said.
