Black Belt Treasures Cultural Art Center celebrated their 20th anniversary with a party Oct. 2 in Camden, Wilcox County, Alabama, with state lawmakers, artists, community leaders and longtime supporters gathered to honor the center that has not only showcased art but also sparked an economic and cultural renaissance in the Black Belt region of Alabama. The center got a $25,000 donation and unveiled a new painting commissioned by a Black Belt artist. Cindy talks about attending the event in this segment of the Black Belt Newscast.
