The Coalition of Concerned Families in Selma held a Candidates’ Forum for the 2026 Sheriff of Dallas County election at Foot Soldiers Park auditorium on Water Avenue. Candidates Willie Calhoun Jr. and Dewayne Sanders talked youth violence, crime prevention and their decades of law enforcement experience.
